British Soccer Camp

The Greater Hunt County Soccer Association is pleased to announce a year of partnership with Challenger Sports, providers of the USA’s most popular soccer camp, to host a week long British Soccer Camp during the week of July 9th – 13th at the Greenville Sports Park, Field #1, Kari Lane, Greenville, TX 75402.

The camp will run Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of Challenger’s British coaching staff flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger will hold over 4,000 British Soccer Camps this summer and will coach over 120,000 players between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 30,000 parents and coaches.

Challenger’s British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regimen of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily ‘World Cup’ tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship.

Each camper will receive a FREE camp T-shirt, soccer ball, soccer poster, individual skills performance evaluation and free access to an educational soccer website. In addition, any child who signs up online at least 45 days (May 25th) prior to camp will receive a genuine British Soccer replica Jersey valued at $39. Soccer FunFest Was A Huge Success

The Soccer FunFest was a huge success!! More than 1000 people were in attendance for this wonderful event!We would like to thank everyone who volunteered, sponsored, and/or donated an item(s). We would like to thank our Field Sponsors who make it all possible through their sponsorship of the soccer program. We would also like to give a special thank you to the GHS High School Girls' Soccer team, Britain Chevrolet, and the many more coaches and volunteers that helped make our FunFest a success. Also our appreciation is extended to our Advisors and their families for thier hard work and leadership this season to improve our soccer program.
