Coaching Certifications Classes

Students on Field TripThe Greenville YMCA will be hosting an NTSSA Level G Coaching Certification classes. Level "G" Certifications are free and open to the public. Under NTSSA guidelines, all coaches must obtain a minimum of a level "G" Coaching Certification by the 2nd season they will be coaching a team. This is a lifetime certification that never has to be renewed.

The date for the class held in Greenville Saturday, August 14thfrom 8:30-12:30. If you would like to register for one of the Greenville classes please contact Jeana Franklin or the YMCA Sports Director. If you are unable to attend either of those dates but need to get your certification by the Fall season, alternate dates are available in surrounding towns.

Also these coaching certification classes are open to the public, they are NOT restricted to only coaches.  Please encourage your parents to attend even if they do not plan to coach.  This will make your job easier as a coach.  They will then understand the game of soccer better and can then help their children to become better soccer players.

Also advanced coaching certifications are available and encouraged for older age divisions. For more information on certifications and certification clinic dates go to the NTSSA website.

Coaching preference will be given to certified coaches.
